Dr. Roopa P is a dedicated and accomplished Consultant in Reproductive Medicine, based in Bangalore. With a strong academic background—MBBS, DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology, a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine, and a Certificate in Genetic Counselling—she brings over a decade of experience in fertility care and women’s health.
Her passion for helping couples achieve their dream of parenthood is reflected not just in her clinical expertise, but also in her active involvement in teaching and research. Dr. Roopa serves as a Co-ordinator and Faculty for the RGUHS Post-Doctoral Fellowship Training Program, and has conducted several short courses and training programs in IUI and reproductive medicine.
Her work extends beyond the clinic. As a research associate for a WHO project in 2008, she focused on educating rural women about antenatal care. Dr. Roopa has also been an invited speaker and guest faculty at numerous national and state-level CMEs, and is a recognized voice in expert discussions on television and radio platforms.
Her contributions to medical science include multiple research papers and presentations, including her international presentation on endometrial preparation in vitrified thawed cycles. She was also part of the “Innovation Award Winning Team” by Manipal Hospital, recognized for the best clinical research of the year in 2015-2016.
